For MD5, one way to check this is to use some tool getting the download stuff's MD5 hash code to see if it is the same as the other correct one, for example you can use the one from md5 / Hope this helps. I've downloaded the file En_vs_2005_Pro_90_Trial.img. See: Thus, I suggested you to try downloading the installer again. It indicates that it could be related to corrupted installer package.
Have you tried to install the software before answering to this post (or did you just speculate?), do you have the correct size of the file, or the MD5 checksum and i will compare them!!īased on the error message "Program to big to fit in memory", I found a similar KB. Hi Artelec, Thank you for your information. Which leads many to think that a corrupted download must be the cause, which in this case, is not the cause!! Have you tried to install the software before answering to this post (or did you just speculate?), do you have the correct size of the file, or the MD5 checksum and i will compare them!! I believe i have downloaded the file correctly, and provided size information and a MD5 checksum of the file, I have verified this by checking file size and MD5SUM of all files downloaded using the methods specified above! The sad fact is that Microsoft does not provide any method to verify the file size and MD5 checksum (or other CRC checksum data).
The error remains the same no difference of my download method! There seems to be a great confusion in this matter, and everyone seems to believe that there are errors in the download of the file. However i am unable to verify the download of the cd image other than downloading it several times, which renders the exact duplicate of this image!! I need to resolve this since Atmel (recommends visual studio 2005 for development using the BSP support package available for its microprocessors () Have anyone been able to duplicate this error? Can anyone at microsoft please verify the md5 hash provied above to the file downloaded? /Bobo Hi YiChun Chen I have tried to download the file En_vs_2005_Pro_90_Trial.img using several methods, to note a few, i tried wget, firefox, internet explorer and more.
Hello, I am trying to install Visual Studio 2005 trial edition, acquired from downloaded size of the file: 2935982080 21:58 En_vs_2005_Pro_90_Trial.img md5sum of the file: b9fbc2138fbf095881ffb629aaa3c29c En_vs_2005_Pro_90_Trial.img I have tried to burn the cd image to disc using nero, I have tried attaching the cd image to the computer with virtual cdrom application The error is the same, when i run Autorun, a black window appears, but disappears immediatly, when i try to run setup.exe available on the image from the command console, i get an error message - "Program to big to fit in memory" Since i have harddisk space available and about a gig of RAM i'm quite surprised of this error, however researching it on google provides me with information that the binary could be damaged.
